'The Accrington Pals' was performed in the St Peters Art Centre, UCLAN and adapted by director Helen Tolson.
In this production I played 'Sarah', a mid 20's war wife with a brash personality and a fiesty attitude. Sarah is the rock that holds the women of the ensemble together. While her husband Bill is called to the Barracks of World War One, she helps provides for her family, developing a hard outer shell to the extremities of life. With a little comedy thrown in here and there, Sarah added a certain light to the otherwise sometimes dreary plot.
